Parrys Corner also has many shops selling almost everything. Nearby is the famous Burma Bazaar where all sorts of imported goods can be purchased.

Traditional Traders: George Town the area around the Fort retains much of its original flavour. This is wholesale area of Chennai.Many streets are entirely devoted to selling one particular type of merchandise as they have done for several years.
